Roto brushes clean, texture, and polish your bases with way less effort, improving performance and reducing the time it takes to wax your skis.

Specs

The Roto Brush Set includes 3 high quality brushes, handle with guard, and travel case.

BRASS BRUSH: Clean the ski before waxing. Removes dirt, grime, and old wax. Also, the first brush to use after the waxing. Removes most of the excess wax and preps the ski for polishing.

NYLON BRUSH: First polishing brush. Starts to expose the base structure and removes any remaining wax that has not been absorbed into the base. (Also, it is in the custom mountainFLOW mint green!)

HORSE HAIR BRUSH: Last polishing brush. Exposes the intricate base structure and gives bases that brilliant shiny black look that lets you know it's time to rip.

HANDLE: Sturdy handle with dust guard

TRAVEL CASE: Durable travel case to store your brushes with extra room to throw in some bars of wax.

This is first impressions as the review can't be truly complete until I try the finished product out on the snow. That said, I am pleased so far with the Roto Brush Set. Easy to use and my bases feel really good to the touch.

Quality and value

Used a few times and so far so good. Easy to switch between the brushes. Makes quick work of prepping/cleaning and removing and smoothing out wax on my skate skis. I did notice some like shedding of the horsehair brush, but not enough to concern me. Price is right!

Looks good except for shedding horsehair brush

The roto brush set looks good and seems to work well with the exception of the horsehair brush that is shedding bristles. None of the other brushes have done this and I’m not certain how long it will last. I don’t use pressure while using it and I let the brush do the work. Hopefully it will resolve itself.

This set is really a great value, especially for the home tuner. It’s a huge time saver, especially for those who have a quiver. The kit contains the essentials: brass, nylon, and horsehair.

Fantastic price point

With comparable roto brush kits running $250 - $350 , the Mountain Flow brush kit is a refreshing break from over priced "premium" ( I won't mention the "S" word. 😉) ski waxing equipment and wax supply companies. I also really admire the enviromentally friendly wax lineup offered by this small sized Colorado company.

I thought the IR Waxer was the bees knees, well these roto brushes are the cat's pajamas! I'm now like Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor as I grunt and blast wax off of my skis. The brushes are all high quality and the handle is super solid. The finished product is unreal - ski shop quality bases ready to hit the slopes.
