Q: What is the wattage?
A: 900w (2 450w bulbs)

Q: What is the voltage requirement?
A: Our IR Waxer utilizes a standard United States 110v plug. For international
orders, you WILL NEED a voltage converter. 220v international versions are in progress.

Q: How close to the base do I need to hold the device? 
A: Proximity to the base is the primary mechanism for controlling heat. The closer/longer you hold it in one spot, the hotter that spot will get. We recommend holding the waxer around 4-6 inches from the base of the ski.

Q: Does it work with all waxes? 
A: Absolutely! The IR Waxer will work with any hot wax.

Q: What are the dimensions of the unit? 
A: ~8.5in x 5in x 7.5in

Q: Does the IR Waxer work with all types equipment? XC skis, snowboards, etc
A: Yes, you can use the IR Waxer with alpine skis, XC skis, and snowboards.
